CNG (Compressed Natural Gas)

PROJECT DETAILS

Starting with a market survey in 2001, in 2003 in Rousse on 15th of May, the first in Bulgaria privately-owned free-access station for refueling vehicles with compressed natural gas (CNG) was opened.

The company Ecobus relied on the Italian compressor provider NUOVO PIGNONE with a more than 70 years experience and started large-scale loading of cars and passenger vehicles for the private sector in Rousse. Thus, this investment joined the list of “first things to happen” in Rousse.

Later, the expansion of this business started, with about 50 stations built in about 3 years in the country. A few years later, the massive retrofitting of the taxi sector began, with more than 100 stations in 2008.

The engineers and specialists of GASEXPERT took an active part in the design of a large part of these stations, the supply of basic and additional equipment for them, which took 24/7 service and maintenance of the facilities.
Clients are almost all major fuel chains and distributors in the country.
